Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about Daylet's direct booking engine
Is there a commission on bookings?
No. Daylet charges a flat subscription — it never takes a cut of your bookings. Pro is a fixed monthly price, and the Free plan costs nothing at all. Every penny your guests pay goes directly to you.
Can I sync my Airbnb or Booking.com calendar with Daylet?
Yes — on the Pro plan you can import iCal feeds from Airbnb, Booking.com, Vrbo, or any platform that supports iCal export. Dates already booked on those platforms are automatically blocked on your Daylet calendar, preventing double bookings, and Daylet re-checks those calendars frequently throughout the day.
Can I embed the booking engine on WordPress?
Yes — and there are two ways to do it. Option 1: paste an iframe code snippet to embed the calendar inline on a page. Option 2: add a single script tag that places a floating 'Book Now' button on any page, opening the calendar in a full-screen modal. Both work on WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, Webflow, or any custom HTML page. Developers on the Pro plan can also use Daylet's REST API to read availability and pricing and create bookings from their own code.
Do my guests need an account to book?
No — guests can submit a booking request without creating an account. They pick their dates, fill in their details, and submit. You review and approve or decline from your dashboard.
How do I control which bookings to accept?
Daylet uses a manual approval model by default. Every booking request lands in your dashboard for review. You approve or decline with one click, and the guest is notified automatically by email.
What's the difference between the Free and Pro plans?
The Free plan lets you manage 1 property with up to 5 bookings per year — perfect for trying Daylet. The Pro plan adds unlimited properties, unlimited bookings, iCal calendar imports, full email customisation, and developer API access.
Does Daylet support multiple properties?
Yes — the Pro plan supports unlimited properties. Each property gets its own booking page, embeddable calendar widget, and availability calendar. You manage everything from a single dashboard.
